Edenderry Power Ltd today announced the appointment of Tom Egan as Plant Manager with effect from May 1st 2006.  Tom replaces Dermott Kelly in the Plant Manager role who will continue to act as General Manager of the company focusing on the long term Co-Fuelling of the plant.  A native of Edenderry, Tom has identified continued excellent Health & Safety Management as well as maintaining EPL's record as one of the leading performance power plants in the country as two of his immediate priorities.  Tom joined EPL as Maintenance Manager in 2004 having previously worked internationally in a range of roles in the electricity business.

Peter Gillespie, currently Operations Manager, will assume the role of Operation & Maintenance Manager, also from May1st.
