Career Information/School Visits/Professional Interest

Since commissioning of the plant in 2000, every year Edenderry Power Plant has hosted visits and tours for schools, colleges and professional groups both locally and further a field. We operate a career information program focused particularly on secondary students where we describe the types of career and work opportunities that are available in the electricity sector. We also have a limited number of Work Experience opportunities where we offer experience in the typical roles when one works in the energy sector. Other areas where we may be able to be of assistance include information for school or university projects and assignments. All schools, primary, secondary or third level as well as visitors out of professional interest are welcome to visit the plant.
